Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Riverside Tree Felling collects through this website, why we collect it and what your rights are under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

Information we collect

When you send a quote request we collect the details you enter: your name, phone number, email address if you give one, your suburb or site location, the details of the work and any photos you attach. If you call, email or send us a WhatsApp message, we receive whatever you choose to share with us.

How we use it

We use your information only to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, arrange an assessment and carry out any work you ask us to do. We do not sell your information and we do not add you to a marketing list.

Where it is kept and who can see it

Quote requests are emailed to us and a copy is stored in the private administration area of this website. They are handled by our website hosting and email providers on our behalf. We share your information with others only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any work that follows, and for as long as the law requires records to be kept. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.

Cookies and measurement

This website does not need cookies to work. If we use Google services to measure visits or the results of our advertising, those services may set cookies in your browser and record that a call button, WhatsApp button or quote form was used. They do not receive the details you enter in the form.

Your rights

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a request, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
